We provided transaction advice and support during the full privatisation process. This resulted in the successful acquisition of two distribution companies by IEDM in 2013, Ibadan EDC and Yola EDC. We subsequently supported IEDM in the declaration of Force Majeure in the Yola region due to increasing insurgency activity in the area, the exercise of the Put Option in the Performance Agreement and the subsequent return of the Yola EDC assets to Government control.
